Nina Hagen is from East Berlin, a dissident’s stepdaughter. As she started out in the 70's with her band the automobiles, you can see in her eyes, the crazyness that is she, while singing "" "Du hast den Farbfilm vergessen""
Her outfits are outragious, her lyrics true to herslef and in a way she has a huge heart, with tons of madness going on. She understands our corrupt world and is not afraid to be who she really is. I love her.
And so, viz: Nina Hagen. I guess all the late ’70s punks were about epater les bourgeoisie but Nina’s even weirder, even after she went to the West: always true to herslef.
